Mapping Shrink Culture

Over the past 10 months The Incredible Shrinking Man research collected a wide array of shrink facts, figures and visions. The categories spanned everything from science to art, from history to genetics and entertainment, from technology to psychology and so on. We have deliberately not limited ourselves to scientific possibilites. We believe that if we are to decide to shrink as a species our possibilities to do so need to be firmly rooted in the personal, economic and cultural desire to shrink. Based on the information collected in The Incredible Shrinking Man research we will now create a physical map of shrink culture and hopefully uncover more secrets of the cultural significance of shrinking.

We invite the public to join in this research, and share what they know. The shrink map will be opened to your input during Transnatural, open every wednesday to saturday between 2 and 8, and sundays between 1 and 5 until April 1.
